Antarctica With Red Color Ice
Antarctica – Ice is frozen water, we all know that. However, have you ever thought about the possibility of there being some red water that comes from ice? Nope? Well, that’s understandable.
However, you will probably be surprised to hear that this is something that has actually happened. In order to find this rather strange event, we have to head to Antarctica. Antarctica is only really famous for penguins and a lot of ice.
In Antarctica, there is a glacier that goes by the name ‘blood falls’ and it is pretty easy to guess why it has been given that title.
If you are fortunate enough to catch a glimpse of it at the correct time, you would see that the water that comes out of it is red in color. In fact, it makes it look as if the ice itself is bleeding.
Now, clearly that is not possible, but the water is indeed red, and it is all thanks to the water being oxidized. In other words, it is completely natural, and it is simply just a strange thing for you to come across.
